Our goal as a team is to create an honest website development team in the pool of website developers out there. We pride ourself on our transparency and our willingness to stand out from the rest as an honest, hardworking team!
We are, however, much more than a website development company. We specialize in SEO (search engine development) for small businesses who have a local target. While our niche is working with trade companies such as construction, plumbing, electrical, painting, cabinet companies etc, we work with a variety of companies.

THE EARLY DAYS
Our Founding
Business Optimizer was founded in 2016 by Justin Lewis & Matt Herich.
Originally, the concept was created by Justin Lewis in 2010 when he founded a web design service for entrepreneurs called Niche Optimizer. In 2013 Justin started working solely with local businesses in Virginia.
By 2016, Justin had traveled the country and met Matt Herich in California to help some of the early foundations. They worked together to build the basis of what we have today.
EARLY BEGINNINGS
Our Focus On Businesses
Justin had developed websites for thousands of entrepreneurs since 2010 with Niche Optimizer. Given that he had direct experience with working in trades, local businesses started reaching out to him asking if he could help build their websites.
He began going to networking meetings, Chamber of Commerce events, joined BNI, and focused on helping his local community in Virginia in 2013. This helped him realize that he could impact businesses profit almost immediately after launching optimized websites.
It was a no-brainer to fully transition to working primarily with local businesses shortly after.
PRESENT DAY
Working With Local & National Businesses
Justin & his wife, Joelle, along with their two children now travel the country full-time, all while meeting with clients. They have a love for the open road and given the way this industry works, Justin is able to work from any location via phone, tablet, or laptop.
