In 2014 I made a choice to start traveling the country with my now wife, Joelle, in an RV. Since then we’ve been to about 38+ states and have used this opportunity to help build a team of skilled developers and marketers.
I made it an objective of mine to meet many of our clients around the country, whom had entrusted me with their business without ever meeting me prior.
It’s been an amazing experience and since we started we’ve officially lived in (for more than 3 months):
- Virginia Beach, VA
- Raleigh, NC
- Vacaville, CA
- Hillsboro, OR
- Tampa, FL
- Dandridge, TN
For those out there wondering, I’m able to do this because my entire business is run online. So long as I have access to a phone and computer, with an internet connection, I’m able to provide for our clients. I make sure to have a desktop, laptop, tablet, multiple phones, fast internet, and a hotspot accessible to me at all times to ensure this.
There was a period where I had spotty internet and literally would drive around random roads looking for a data connection so that I could make an extremely simple update to a client’s website. The update wasn’t urgent to them, but I made it an urgent matter because that’s how I run my business. I do what needs to be done to make sure our clients know we care.
